We are only three matches to the 2019 year and UCLA fans understand that this effort will not end well for the Bruins. For those backing them in their college football 23, UCLA has lost their first three games and has failed to cover the number.
Last week it was Oklahoma’s high-octane attack that scorched the Bruins’ defense and delivered with a 48-14 defeat of UCLA.
The Bruins have scored just 14 points in most of the games which positions them 127th in the country in scoring, even while they’re in the lowest third in passing (185.3 metres per game), in addition to rushing (78 yards per game).
Washington State enters Week 4 of the college football season ranked 19th in the country and appreciates the No. 1 air strike, averaging 476 yards passing per game, within the initial three weeks of this season.
On the floor the Cougars are much less prolific, averaging rushing. Washington State and the Houston Cougars fought but was able to muster for a victory as nine-point favorites week.
Senior quarterback Anthony Gordon tossed for 440 yards and three touchdowns, giving him his third successive 400-yard match of this season, also leading the Cougars 11th rated scoring attack, putting up an average of 49.3 points per match.
The college football odds on this matchup, into 19-point favorites, have installed Washington State as 18 1/2 at each the best internet sportsbooks and it is tough to argue with that disperse. There’s no question that Washington State has the weapons to blitz the UCLA secondary through the atmosphere while the Cougars’ defense can certainly contain the Bruins meager offensive attack….more like a mild affront if we’re being fair.
The disparity in ability has increased significantly that if the Cougars claimed a victory Even though these teams haven’t met since October of 2016.
There will be those that indicate UCLA will probably be engaged since it is a PAC-12 competition but what it is actually, is a lopsided mismatch involving a group that will be mired in the muck of the PAC-12 basement versus a national contender vying for a place in the College Football Playoff.
My sole concern is that after dispatching Houston, FCS lightweight Northern Colorado, and New Mexico State, the Cougars have yet to confront a threat that is bona fide.
I would contend that UCLA fits in that category, which is the reason I’m including Washington State in my college football picks that Saturday, and you should too!
