Northern Ireland captain Caroline O’Hanlon is returning for a Period into the Vitality Netball Superleague champions Manchester Thunder.
The center is the most recent signing for its 2020 campaign of Thunder, carrying the amount of names declared to seven.
O’Hanlon captained the Northern Ireland side that finished 10th in the Netball World Cup in Liverpool as well as shooting her Football team into the quarter-finals of the All Ireland Championships.
Speaking about committing to Thunder for 2020,” O’Hanlon said:”I’m delighted to sign on with my third season at Thunder following such a excellent year last year.
“We have the best fans in the league and it’s an absolute liberty every time that I get to reflect this franchise. I can not wait to get back on court and defend our title.”
Head coach Karen Greig is on the moon to have her”lynchpin” O’Hanlon back for another season.
“Caroline is an integral signing for us now and I am delighted to have her back for another year. The previous two seasons she has become a lynchpin for us – the speed and control she provides us can be unstoppable. I can’t wait to use her and see her venture with Ash Neal grow”
Sky Sports is the house of netball and it returns to your screens when they visit South Africa in November, while the Roses return to action under trainer Jess Thirlby, starting with the Fast5 Championships on Saturday October 12.
