The Milwaukee Brewers will head to St. Louis after a Few wild days in Washington against the Nationals.
Saturday night proved to be a crazy that is excellent, but Sunday was a poor day for its Brewer pitching yesterday afternoon. That the Nats were outlasted by the Brewers in 14 innings for a 15-14 win in an enjoyable game for those fans. It was not an enjoyable game at all for its bullpens.
The Brewers bullpen took the lengthy affair tougher. Their pitching staff that was tired got hammered yesterday day allowing 16 runs in a 16-8 loss. Milwaukee additional 4 9th inning runs to soften the blow to earn the score a bit more respectable.
Chase Anderson got off to a terrible start Sunday to set the wheels in motion to get a day on the bulge. Anderson allowed 10 earned runs in just 2.1 innings and Aaron Wilkerson was labeled for five earned runs in 4.1 innings. The offense was not going to be making that up, so it was an early reduction for the Brewers because one.
The Brewers are at the middle of a tight NL Central along with wildcard race. They have a probability of winning nothing in any respect or one of both. This is a series for Cardinals and the Brewers.
Between Cardinals, Cubs, and the Brewers that there are separating everybody in the NL Central. Pirates and the Reds are outside, but everyone else is still in play in the branch. With a powerful series over the Cardinals and the Cubs this week slipping upward, the Brewers may be at the end of the week beneath the NL Central. A little more easy said than done.
Zach Davies, who was the best pitcher in the Brewers rotation, will look to respond after struggling mightily recently. The Cardinals are expected to counter with Dakota Hudson. Head below for our free Brewers vs. Cardinals select.

Zach Davies is a leading option for the Brewers within their rotation this season. While the majority of the spinning struggled, Davies was the one outlier who delivered on the bulge. It was quite notable and Davies was on pace to break his previous career-high ERA of 3.90 set in 2017. I will ignore the 3.71 ERA he posted in six starts as a beginner since it wasnt a complete year for him.
Davies is clearly on pace to conquer an ERA of 3.90, but hes making it hard on himself down the stretch. Davies moves with the ERA of 3.74 and 1.39 WHIP, but his current excursions are placing a career-high in doubt today. He also posted a 11.77 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and .400 OBA in his previous three starts, enabling 18 runs in 13 innings of work.
Davies also has not performed well in his profession from the Cardinals. The Cards are hitting .300 using 21 runs dozens on Davies at 130 at-bats. In his last trip to St. Louis, Davies was good however, the Cardinals were much better with a 4-3 victory. Along with Davies struggling lately, their bullpen is going to be drained after the previous two days.
Dakota Hudson has been coming from a standout performance against the Royals. He shuttered the KC lineup across 6 innings of work for no more runs. Since the Cards appreciated a triumph, the Warriors took care of the rest. Hudson has enabled over 3 runs. Since April 21st, Hudson has been the model of consistency, using just one game with over 3 runs. Expect the Cardinals to start a series from an competitor with a triumph in Busch Stadium on Monday.
