Ben Whiteman’s late penalty secured a thrilling victory in the South Yorkshire derby for Doncaster as they came from behind to beat Rotherham 2-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The Millers had been sent by on-loan Jake Hastie to the break a goal up since the game turned on its head, earlier skipper Whiteman struck by 12 yards two minutes , but veteran James Coppinger equalised.
After a cagey opening, littered with fouls, Millers shield Michael Ihiekwe narrowly headed Ben Wiles’ corner wide, but they had been after 37 minutes.

Ennis attracted before the on-loan sub won the penalty that secured the three points after that he had been hauled to the earth by 28, another save out of Price.
Whiteman sent Price the incorrect way from the spot as Doncaster claimed the rights rights.
