His mother and england all-rounder Ben Stokes have launched legal action against sunlight newspaper after it printed a narrative reporting a family catastrophe from over three decades ago.
The cricketer lambasted the paper when it printedincredibly debilitating, sensitive and individual information about his family , beating it asutterly disgusting.
Proceedings in the High Court were filed in September 30, based on Byline Investigates, on News Group Newspapers (NGN) – The Suns parent firm.
The situation is recorded as a intellectual property claim.
A representative of The Sun declined to comment.
The narrative on September 17 worried a family catastrophe involving the 28-year-olds mom, Deborah Stokes.
In a post on Twitter – which received thousands of retweets, enjoys and encouraging remarks – Stokes stated a reporter had turned up in his parents house in New Zealandout of the blue to ask them about the tragedy.
The Sun responded that it had contacted Stokes prior to printing the article andat no point did he or his representatives ask us not to publish the narrative.
It reported that the couple and the cricketer had dropped to comment.
